Catherine, Princess of Wales was nothing less than flawless for the Coronation Weekend, delivering standout jewellery moments one after another. Below, we round up her best looks from the weekend, spanning her iconic floral headdress by Alexander McQueen to her Magic Alhambra necklace from Van Cleef & Arpels.
And although the United Kingdom waited 70 years for the spectacle of a coronation, the crowning of King Charles III did not disappoint. Indeed, the coronation weekend was quite the once-in-a-lifetime occasion, with smatterings of regal jewels littered throughout the three-day-long celebrations.
The Coronation Ceremony
At the official coronation ceremony, the Princess of Wales paid tribute to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana, by wearing her Diamond and South Sea Pearl earrings.

With this, the royal teamed a striking silver headpiece by Alexander McQueen, crafted in collaboration with British milliner Jess Collett, and the late Queen Elizabeth’s George VI Festoon necklace, strung with three rows of diamonds.

The Big Lunch
For her appearance at the Big Lunch in Windsor, prior to the coronation concert, Kate chose these lustrous 18K gold baroque pearl earring drops from one of her go-to jewellers, Annoushka.

Versatile in design, the delicate drops can be detached and restyled as a charm or pendant on hoops, necklaces and bracelets.
The Coronation Concert
Resplendent in a fiery-red Alexander McQueen suit, Kate accessorised with a yellow gold Magic Alhambra 6 motif necklace from Van Cleef & Arpels at the coronation concert.

Hung from a delicate chain, the French maison’s four-leaf clover-inspired Alhambra motif features in shimmering mother-of-pearl.

This isn’t the first time Kate has been photographed wearing Van Cleef & Arpels, either. The Princess donned this exact necklace to the BAFTA Awards back in February 2020, coordinating the design with matching Alhambra earrings.
