Alex Eagle and Kimai jewellery collaboration

Alex Eagle has teamed up with Kimai, a lab-grown diamond jewellery brand, to create a new fine jewellery collection. Designed by Alex Eagle and crafted by Kimai, the pieces see lab-grown diamonds combined with recycled 18k gold. A harness clip was the starting place of the collaboration, which features seven pieces that can be stacked as well as mixed and matched.

Pieces include The Chubby Hoop, The Silo Hoop, The Juno Ring, The Chubby Pave Hoop, The Glow Piercing, The Atlas Pave Necklace and the The Atlas Necklace, with prices ranging from £195 to £5,000.

“We have always admired Alex’s impeccable taste,” says Kimai co-founder Sidney Neuhaus, “and ability to create elevated essentials that have a unique story to tell, making her a dream collaborator for us.”

Kimai was established in 2018 by best friends Jessica Warch and Sidney Neuhaus, who both grew up in Antwerp. Their families worked in the traditional diamond industry. The duo use lab-grown diamonds, plus solar energy and recycled 18k gold. Diane Von Furstenberg is an investor of the business. And celebrities to date who have worn it include Emma Watson and Jessica Alba.

“We loved handing over the reins of our atelier to Alex, giving her the creative control to design her dream collection,” says Jessica Warch, Kimai co-founder.

Eagle added: “Why save jewellery for special occasions when you can wear your favourite diamonds in different ways every day of the week? Working with Kimai was an opportunity to distill my design ethos of elevated essentials into an innovative and sustainable fine jewellery capsule collection that can be worn every day in multiple ways.”
