Hollywood’s glitterati brought their jewellery A-game to the 2022 Venice Film Festival. From Greta Gerwig to Regé-Jean Page, here are the stars who sparkled the brightest in our guide to the most showstopping gems from this year’s event

It’s one of the most eagerly awaited events of the year in the world of film as Hollywood’s finest flock to Italy’s Palazzo del Cinema for a festival of premieres, high fashion and, of course, plenty of unforgettable jewellery moments. And so far, this year’s Venice attendees have not disappointed. We’ve experienced glamour, gold and diamonds galore as the stars donned their finest rocks to make their red carpet appearance.

From Jodie Turner Smith’s sculptural Bulgari collar to Neelam Gill’s shimmering suite of lab-grown gems by Vrai, here are the jewels from the 79th Venice Film Festival that we can’t stop thinking about.
