The best jewellery looks from the SAG Awards 2023, including Zendaya's shimmering diamond pieces by Bulgari, Michelle Yeoh dressed in Moussaieff as well as high creations by De Beers and Cartier

Yep, the red carpet events just keep on rolling. Sunday evening saw the best and brightest of the television and film world descend on Los Angeles for the 29th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards (more commonly called the SAG awards), the last major awards show before the Oscars and the ceremony widely tipped as a bellwether for Academy Award success.
It was a huge night for the whimsical multiverse movie, ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’, which set a historic precedent by scooping the most awards for a single film. But it also ended up being a big night for glittering diamonds, as the likes of Michelle Yeoh, Jennifer Coolidge and Jessica Chastain collected their gongs adorned in the shimmering natural gemstone.
Continuing her relationship with Moussaieff, Michelle Yeoh wore a pair of spectacular yellow and white diamond chandelier earrings and a yellow diamond ring by the Bond Street jeweller to collect her Best Female Actor in a Leading Role award.
Yeoh’s on-screen husband in EEAAO, Ke Huy Quan, flew the flag for glamorous men’s brooches with a dazzling natural diamond, anodised titanium and coated aluminium pin from De Beers’ Alchemist of Light high jewellery collection.
And though it was only her first time at the SAG Awards, everyone’s favourite wannabe dolphin, Jennifer Coolidge, scooped the Best Female Actor Award in a Drama Series for her work in ‘The White Lotus’. She looked effortlessly elegant in all black and 18k white gold and diamond pieces by Niwaka Fine Jewelry.
She may have lost out to Jennifer Coolidge for an award, but Zendaya looked winning in a suite of sparkling pieces by the Roman jeweller, Bulgari. She opted for a high jewellery necklace in yellow gold with spinels and diamonds, set with show-stopping tanzanite, morganite and aquamarine stones. She also chose a high jewellery diamond bracelet, ring and diamond studs to complement her powder pink Valentino gown.
Emily Blunt also chose Bulgari jewels, embellishing her floral Oscar de la Rena dress with a high jewellery Serpenti necklace in pink gold, diamonds and 20 step-cut marquise rubies, plus a high jewellery ruby ring and Serpenti Viper earrings in rose gold and diamonds.
Leo Woodall, who triumphed in the Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series category for The White Lotus, elevated his suiting with Cartier’s Panthère de Cartier ring and a yellow gold chain necklace.
Sheryl Lee Ralph glistened in tiered hoop diamond earrings by Brazilian born, London based jeweller, Fernando Jorge.
Paul Mescal cut a suave figure in Cartier’s Tank Must timepiece, framed with diamonds, a yellow gold Juste un Clou earring and a Trinity ring intertwined with white gold and black ceramic.
‘The White Lotus’ star Aubrey Plaza went for a bronze sequin Michael Kors ensemble, complemented with diamond drop earrings by Mouawad.
Resplendent in airy layers of yellow organza ruffles by Giambattista Valli, the very regal Angela Bassett definitely ‘did the thing’ in golden Talisman drop earrings with 26 carats of diamonds by De Beers.
Jessica Chastain, who took home the award for Outstanding Female Actor in a mini series or television drama for her role in ‘George and Tammy’, accessorised her raspberry Zuhair Murad gown with colourful earrings and a double finger ring from Gucci‘s Hortus Deliciarum high jewellery collection.
‘Wednesday’ star Jenna Ortega walked the red carpet dressed in suitably gothic black, enlivened with a diamond and yellow gold necklace designed by Schlumberger for Tiffany & Co.
The ever-elegant Michelle Williams chose Tiffany & Co., too, with a pair of dainty diamond studs and a string of luminous pearls.
Nominated for her stellar turn in the biographical drama miniseries, ‘The Dropout’, Amanda Seyfried stunned in Art Deco-esque high jewellery earrings in platinum, diamonds, emeralds and onyx by Cartier, with a matching bracelet with peridots, sapphires and diamonds.
Also a fan of Cartier, best supporting actress nominee Stephanie Hsu opted for the Maison’s high jewellery earrings in white gold, diamonds, rubies and onyx, with a high jewellery bracelet embellished with diamonds and spinels and a glittering white gold and diamond ring.
‘Till’ actress, Danielle Deadwyler, opted for a platinum high jewellery necklace by Bulgari with round brilliant cut diamonds and pavé set diamonds and a central 12.43 carat modified brilliant diamond, plus a matching diamond and platinum ring.
‘The White Lotus’ actress Megann Fahy chose all white gold and diamond jewels by Cartier. She donned a pair of Reflection de Cartier earrings, and some of the brand’s bestselling Love rings.
But bucking the diamond trend, star of ‘The Woman King’ Viola Davis opted to accessorise her sunny Valentino gown with golden hoops by Swarovski instead.
Dapper as ever, ‘Elvis’ star Austin Butler opted for a suite of Cartier treasures. On his wrist, a Louis Cartier timepiece, while diamond-set Love rings and a Trinity ring sparkled across his fingers.
‘The Crown’ actress, Elizabeth Debicki, matched her green velvet dress with high jewellery earrings from Dior’s Galons Dior collection, inspired by the scrolls of decorative ribbons used in the Maison’s atelier.
