Hear ye, hear ye. Beyoncé is back on dazzling form and she’s got the rocks to prove it. Now that Queen Bey’s Renaissance world tour is officially under way, with incredible custom jewels by Tiffany & Co no less, it’s the perfect excuse for us to take another look at the many, many sensational pieces she has worn over the years. Known for her exacting eye as well as her taste for spectacular accessories, Mrs. Carter pulls exactly zero punches when it comes to heavyweight high jewellery. Here are some of our favourites…
Beyoncé wore a bespoke necklace with crystals by Tiffany & Co for a performance in Brussels.
Crafted from titanium to keep their weight down, Beyoncé’s oversized earrings were by Hollywood jeweller Lorraine Schwartz – a longstanding Queen Bey collaborator – and were adorned with over 70 carats of diamonds.
Lorraine Schwartz also created the eye-popping diamond necklace worn by Beyoncé to the 2017 Grammys. The piece was composed of over 400 carats of diamonds and was worth over US$12 million.
British jeweller Garrard provided Beyoncé with the dramatic Marguerite sapphire, pearl and diamond necklace for the promotional imagery for her Mrs. Carter world tour back in 2013.
Beyoncé’s chandelier diamond earrings were by Lorraine Schwartz – each featured a triple row of large diamonds, weighing in at more than 250 carats in total.
Beyoncé added several other Grammys to her bulging awards cabinet back in 2021 and did so wearing a surrealist Schiaparelli gown complete with sculptural jewellery.
To match her angelic sequinned gown, Queen Bey chose a delicate ‘silk tie’ necklace by Messika, which held over 40 carats of white diamonds.
An ornately beaded custom Alexander McQueen ensemble was paired with an equally ornate suite of accessories, including the house’s crystal Creole earrings and Riviera necklace with pearls and beads.
At a private concert to mark the opening of the ultra luxe Atlantis The Royal Hotel in Dubai, Queen Bey donned a pair of one-of-a-kind earrings by Messika with over 57 carats of diamonds.
It was Lorraine Schwartz jewellery once again at the 2019 gala for her husband Shawn Carter’s foundation. Her interlocking diamond and emerald mesh earrings were matched by emerald and diamond rings.
Hot on the heels of her successful Lemonade album, Beyoncé put in a stellar performance at the 2017 Grammys dressed in a gilded gown by Peter Dundas at Roberto Cavalli. Her dramatic sun ray headpiece was inspired by the African goddess Oshun.
Mrs Carter channelled old-school Silver Screen glamour in an emerald gown by Walter Mendez embellished with over US$5 million worth of jewels – including a pair of shoulder-dusting Lorraine Schwartz and Ofira Jewels bespoke gold and emerald earrings.
