Calling all watch enthusiasts with a penchant for diamonds. Roman jeweller Bulgari has updated its iconic Divas’ Dream and Allegra watch collections with playful new shapes and a frosting of jewels just in time for the summer months

Sparkling jewels and lustrous colours shine in mesmerising compositions in seven new designs unveiled by Bulgari.
Debuting six new cocktail watches and one Haute Horlogerie Minute Repeater timepiece, this latest launch updates the iconic Divas’ Dream and Allegra watch collections with playful shapes, sizes and settings.
Shining as the highlight of the launch is the Divas’ Dream Minute Repeater – a 37mm haute horlogerie watch illuminated by the fiery glow of opal. Touted as one of Bulgari’s most beautiful horological complications, the white gold timepiece is encrusted with diamonds and features a chiming mechanism activated by a fan-shaped tassel at 8 o’clock.
“This timepiece testifies to our desire to offer mechanical complications for women, paying as much attention to their aesthetics as to their technical characteristics,” says Antoine Pin, Bulgari’s Watch Division Managing Director. “This Divas’ Dream jewellery watch with its dial made of opal is full of charm. On top of that, it incorporates a minute repeater – a very sophisticated and complex mechanism that strikes hours, quarters and minutes with a specific tone.”
Launching alongside is two new additions to the Divas’ Dream collection. Gleaming in rose gold, the two new watches feature a repeating diamond-set motif inspired by the mosaics of the Baths of Caracalla in Rome.
Two new Divas’ Dream cocktail watches have also been introduced – one in a rich green and fuchsia pink, the other a softer pink with sunshine yellow. Each new cocktail watch comes punctuated by a corolla of mobile openwork petals set with hard stones, diamonds and round-cut stones. This style is reminiscent of Ginko leaves – one of the oldest living tree species – and comes finished with an iridescent mother-of-pearl dial and a diamond-set bezel.
Beautifully concluding this latest launch are two new additions to the Allegra family in which Bulgari’s unmatched gem setting comes into full play, with a cocktail of zesty colours and cuts, from pink and yellow sapphires, pink tourmalines, citrines, peridots and rhodolites. More than nine carats of stones encircle the mother-of-pearl dial, while hour-markers and the bezel illuminate each piece with twinkling diamonds.
