The Normal People actress sparkled in platinum and diamond jewels from Tiffany & Co.'s latest haute couture Blue Book collection to attend the Met Gala in New York last night.

Daisy Edgar-Jones, who will star as Kya in the upcoming adaptation of Delia Owens’ novel Where The Crawdads Sing, attended her very first Met Gala last night, alongside her Normal People co-star, Paul Mescal.
The actress’ sheer flapper-style gown was a nod to the theme of the evening, ‘Gilded Glamour’, and was a custom design by Oscar de La Renta, created from shimmering floor-length crystal chainmail, with a bandeau top. She told red carpet co-hosts Hamish Bowles and Vanessa Hudgens that her outfit was inspired by the character of Daisy Buchanan from F Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby.
To complement her silvery look, Edgar-Jones accessorised with fistfuls of white diamonds from Tiffany & Co. She chose a pair of platinum and diamond earrings from the jeweller’s upcoming haute Couture Blue Book collection, along with a ‘Victoria’ bracelet in platinum, encrusted with marquis-cut diamonds. This was stacked with another Tiffany & Co piece, the sleek Victoria Line Bracelet, a tennis-style piece with eight carats of round brilliant diamonds, plus a clasp with four marquis-cut diamonds.
Edgar-Jones paired these with two further Tiffany & Co. rings: one diamond platinum band set with a central heart-shaped diamond worth over £42,000, and another platinum ring which sparkled with over seven carats of white diamonds.
