From lime-coloured dials and verdant bracelets to emerald bezels and minty-hued cases, green watches were everywhere at Watches & Wonders 2023. We round up the prettiest timepieces, including Jaeger-LeCoultre, Bulgari, Hermès and Gucci

‘Viva Magenta’ might be the official Pantone colour of the year, but when it came to Watches & Wonders 2023, the watchmaking industry’s largest and most luxurious trade fair, another colour reigned supreme. Green watches were spotted everywhere – whether the hue was enamelled onto their cases, lacquered onto their dials, set as verdant precious stones along bezels or attached as sporty-looking leather or rubber straps. Here are the loveliest examples to invest in now.
This innovative new watch tells the hour via a window at the 12 o’clock position, whilst the minutes are displayed in a semi-circle on the lower part of the dial, all with a vivid green background.
A jazzy Art Deco pattern has been engraved into the white gold case of this sleek new Reverso One (a nod to the watch’s inception in 1931), then green enamel delicately layered in before finally diamonds were painstakingly set all over the case and lugs to create this dazzling masterpiece.
An elegant high jewellery cuff at first glance, the luminous mother-of-pearl face of this one-off watch is concealed beneath a cover inlaid with gleaming emerald cabochons.
One of three unique cuff watches, this precious jewellery watch pays tribute to Piaget’s goldsmithing tradition with an engraved white gold cuff, a shimmering opal dial and a bezel set with emeralds.
Thanks to Gucci’s unique Dancing Hours Flying Tourbillon movement, placed beneath a diamond star in the centre of the watch, the faceted 12 Ethiopian opals can be sent spinning around the dial at the touch of a pusher button on the crown.
First unveiled in 2021 by Hermès’ Creative Director of Horloger, Philippe Dehotal, the latest H08 is available in four new colourways, including this chic khaki, with rubber woven effect straps.
Nothing’s greener, surely, than Kermit the Frog. Oris’ new collaboration with the infamous Muppet boasts the greenest of green dials, plus a little window at the 6 o’clock position where the Frog himself makes an appearance at the first of every month.
Crafted with a dial that pays tribute to the mysterious deep green appearance of some glacial ice (thanks to to trapped molecules of iron oxide), this smart Montblanc 1858 is a boutique-only edition.
Released to celebrate the 60th anniversary of its iconic Carrera TAG Heuer, the new, slimmer version of the Carrera Date comes with three new coloured dials as well as silver: deep blue, bright pink and this lovely pastel green.
