Florentine house Gucci has introduced new high watchmaking creations at this year’s Watches & Wonders fair in Geneva.

Spanning a new 25H Skeleton Tourbillon to a gem-studded G-Timeless Planetarium, read on to discover these new high watchmaking creations.

25H Minute Repeater

The 25H, a signature in the Italian company’s high-end watchmaking catalogue, has introduced the coveted minute repeater complication. Handcrafted, this unique carillon minute repeater features three small hammers that strike different harmonious notes for hours, quarter hours, and minutes, each with its own subtle and unique chime and tone making each watch unique.

Activated on-demand by a rotating bezel, the complex movement is housed within an ultra-thin 9.9mm tri-layer case. The 25H watch itself, meanwhile, measures in at 40mm with a black alligator strap and white or pink gold architecture.

This year saw the debut of a new line of high watches. The Gucci Interlocking combines two of the house’s emblematic complications – the flying tourbillon and jumping hours – which come housed in a 41mm cushion-shaped case.

Punctuating the timepiece is a jumping hour display, crafted from a hand-lacquered hour disc of Roman numerals, inspired by the shape of the Interlocking G motif. As the time jumps to the correct hour, the Roman numeral is revealed in an aperture within a semi-transparent, smoked sapphire glass, which subtly conceals the other numerals on the hour disc.

A flying tourbillon also features at the heart of the dial with a cage embellished with a GG logo.

G-Timeless Planetarium

It’s been another outstanding year for the G-Timeless Planetarium. This year’s model stands out with 12 rotating stones that span from opals and garnets to yellow beryl, peridot and tourmaline through topaz and tanzanite to amethyst and rubellite that encricle a diamond-encrusted tourbillon at the watch’s centre. Sized at 40mm, the model is available in white or pink gold.

25H Skeleton Tourbillon

For 2024, Gucci’s Skeleton Tourbillon line welcomes three new 40mm models. Each dial is fitted with an Interlocking G logo at 12 o’clock, hands and flying tourbillion. Meanwhile, the model’s impressive skeletonised movement can be viewed through a transparent sapphire caseback at just 8.2mm thick.
