With an eye for luxury watches, Harry Kane has amassed one of the most impressive collections on the pitch. In the wake of Kane's signing to Bayern Munich, we look at some of the player’s standout timepieces
By Maria Jakobsen
Harry Kane’s watch collection is characterised by his love of Patek Philippe. Dominated by Aquanaut and Nautilus models, the player’s horological treasure trove also includes a colourful Rolex Daytona ‘Rainbow’ and an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak. Read on as we dig into Kane’s impressive arsenal.
Kane was spotted wearing the newest Patek Philippe 5270P throughout 2022.
With its striking green dial and platinum case, this 4th-generation perpetual calendar chronograph represents a contemporary turn for the Swiss brand. The iconic and traditional 5270P received a colourful makeover with this bold ticker, swapping out the salmon-pink dial for a deep green gradient.
The 41mm case sits on an elegant black alligator strap with green stitching to match the dial. The perpetual calendar displays the date indicated by a hand and a moon phase at 6 o’clock, with an additional day/month aperture at 12 o’clock. With a manually wound mechanical movement, this impressive watch has a power reserve of 55 hours, and retails for £176,180.
The first of a number of Aquanauts on this list, this Patek Philippe family is one of the Kane’s favourites.
Kane was photographed sporting this watch on a bright orange composite strap, matching the orange details on the dial and hands.
The Aquanaut was launched in 1997 as a sportier take on the rounded octagonal case of the Nautilus. It boasts a “tropical” strap, made of a composite material ultra-resistant to wear, salt water and UV radiation.
The 5968A is the brand’s first chronograph Aquanaut. Self-winding with a power reserve of 45 hours, the watch retails for £44,290.
During the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Kane sported a white gold Aquanaut 5968G with a khaki green dial and matching strap. With the same movement and complications as the 5968A, the khaki-green version offers a slightly toned-down look.
Kane also owns a 5167A. This Aquanaut, unlike the previous two, does not feature a chronograph complication. Instead, it features a simple black dial and matching black composite strap, for an everyday appeal. He has also been seen wearing a similar model with a blue dial and strap.
A popular choice with footballers, this elegant sports watch has also been seen on the wrists of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Robert Lewandowski. A chronograph, the 5980/1R flaunts a rose gold case and bracelet punctuated by a black gradient dial with gold-applied hour markers.
At the world premiere of James Bond’s No Time to Die, Kane was seen wearing a rare Nautilus watch in platinum.
The timepiece boasts a 40.5mm case and a black dial with diamond indexes, as well as a baguette diamond-set bezel. It currently has a market value of £450,000 – £500,000.
The newest addition to Kane’s enviable collection, he sported this salmon-pink Patek Philippe during his appearance on Good Morning America a few months ago.
Launched in 2022, this World Time Flyback Chronograph has a more vintage look than some of Kane’s other timepieces. It’s also a great choice for a travelling athlete, flaunting a world time function that simultaneously indicates the time in 24 time zones.
Kane also owns an impressive selection of Rolex watches, including the brand’s ‘Rainbow’ Daytona. Kane sported the highly sought-after watch ahead of England’s win over Iran during the 2022 World Cup.
The choice to wear the Rainbow Daytona, with features an array of coloured gemstones on the bezel, was viewed as a dig at Qatar’s anti-LGBTQ+ legislations. Kane chose to wear the watch after he was banned from wearing a “One Love” armband during the World Cup.
The everose Rainbow Daytona is the most recent variation of the timepiece, released in 2018 and featuring Rolex’s proprietary rose gold blend of 18K gold, copper and platinum. The bezel is set with 36 baguette-cut sapphires in a rainbow gradient, with an additional 11 sapphires on the indices. In addition, a total of 56 diamonds adorn the mid-case. Produced in limited numbers and now discontinued, the ‘Rainbow’ Daytona is the holy grail of Rolexes for many collectors. With a market value of between £400,000 and £800,000, it’s Kane’s most valuable watch.
One of the few open-work watches in Kane’s collection, this Audemars Piguet Royal Oak allows the wearer to view its intricate movements. Known for its precision, craftmanship and elegance, this Royal Oak flaunts a 41mm stainless steel case, with a beautiful open-work dial and rose gold applied hour markers. The self-winding watch is also available in pink gold or white gold models and offers a sporty feel to match Kane’s lifestyle.
