Nakard, the brainchild of CFDA award-winning jewellery designer Nak Armstrong, has launched its new Elliptic collection. A diverse assortment of vibrant gemstones, this latest offering takes the classic oval shape – a popular motif in antique jewellery – and reimagines it with slimmer, sexier proportions.
Armstrong, who has been the recipient of several prestigious accolades during his career, including the Fashion Guild International Rising Star Award and the Couture International Award for Platinum, launched his eponymous label in 2011 after more than a decade in the jewellery industry. Most recently, the designer introduced Nakard, a diffusion line focusing on accessible luxury and wearability.
The new Elliptic collection showcases the beauty of sterling silver in a spectrum of embellishments, from malachite, opal and tiger’s eye to rutilated quartz and rainbow moonstone.
Highlights from this latest launch include the Chime Lariat necklace, an 18” collar in sterling silver with a black rhodium finish festooned with Rose of France and amethyst and two quartz droplets, and the Flask earrings, a dangle-style with amethyst and pink opal.
