Jessica von Bredow-Werndl & Richard Mille

The Olympic dressage rider is an ambassador for Richard Mille in a fitting partnership

She might not have had quite the end-of-year scoop as Sports Personality of The Year winner Emma Raducanu. However Jessica von Bredow-Werndl, the German Olympic dressage rider, has still had an excellent 2021. Last night she came fourth in the individual event in the German equivalent Sportler des Jahres 2021 and second in the team category with the German dressage team at the Olympics.

The Richard Mille watch ambassador became an Olympic champion and raked in triple gold at the 2021 European Dressage Championships in Hagen, Germany.

Von Bredow-Werndl had her first riding lessons at just aged four. And at around eight, announced that she wanted to compete in the Olympics.

Since joining the luxury Swiss watchmaker family, von Bredow-Werndl has been wearing its RM-07, a tonneau shaped, lightweight ladies watch manufactured in Carbon TPT, an exceptionally strong form of carbon that protects the movement.

She has described the relationship as “an exceptional partnership”, elaborating: “I have my values and I think they are the same. I’m very lucky to be part of the family and I feel very honoured.”
