Sashaying down the red carpet on day two of the 79th Venice Film Festival, Jodie Turner Smith, proved once again that collar necklaces are still an awards season favourite.

Wearing a colourful gown by Christopher John Rogers, the British model and actress was adorned in a suite of shimmering jewels by the Roman house of Bulgari, to attend the debut of Alejandro González Iñárritu’s latest film, Bardo Falsa Crónica De Unas Cuantas Verdades (Bardo: False Narrative of a Handful of Truths).

Indeed, Turner Smith chose to wear not one but two collars. She stacked Bulgari’s High Jewellery Monete necklace in yellow gold, set with three ancient silver coins and pavé diamonds, atop another of the brand’s High Jewellery necklaces, a pink gold and emerald collar featuring an 8.24 carat emerald cabochon. These were paired with Bulgari’s matching High Jewellery Monete earrings in yellow gold and diamonds.

The actress also chose a fistful of sparkling Bulgari rings to complete her look. Alongside a High Jewellery piece in yellow gold, she selected no less that five different pink gold and diamond Serpenti Viper rings, and a chunky B.Zero1 ring set with pavé diamonds.

This isn’t the first time Turner Smith has picked Bulgari jewels for the red carpet. Earlier this year, she wore a platinum and emerald high jewellery necklace with more than 100 carats worth of diamonds in her hair to attend the 27th Annual Critic’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles. This she paired with a glittering Serpenti high Jewellery bracelet, diamond-encrusted Serpenti earrings and and eight different diamonds and emerald rings, proving that more is definitely more.
