Julia Fox wears an outfit made of vintage watches during NYFW

Julia Fox certainly likes to take her time when party dressing. Or should that be, she likes to take her time WITH her, when party dressing?

As Pandora celebrated its newest lab-grown diamond collections in the run up to New York fashion week, Fox stepped out onto the pink carpet in an ensemble made entirely from vintage watches, with a bandeau top crafted from black leather watch straps stitched together and a mini skirt made from watches stitched vertically onto fabric.

Never one to shy away from an entirely themed outfit, Fox even finished her look with spiky, strappy watch sandals and a leather shoulder bag which looked as if it have been made from woven leather belts – complete with silver buckles all lined up on its front.

Pandora took over a downtown New York parking lot this week, transforming it into the brand’s very own version of the city’s famed Diamond District to celebrate the unveiling of its new lab-grown diamond collection. The event sparkled with a host of celebs, including Little Mermaid star Halle Bailey, Barbie co-stars Hari Nef and Ariana Greenblatt, plus Evan Mock, Ashley Park, Pandora ambassador Precious Lee and fellow campaign ambassador Pamela Anderson, who attended with her sons, Brandon and Dylan.

It was a fitting locale for Fox, who played a part in the 2019 crime thriller Uncut Gems by Josh and Bennie Safdie, which was set in New York’s actual Diamond District. It tells the story of a charismatic diamond dealer and gambling addict, played by Adam Sandler, who sells fake Rolexes certified as genuine and using clients’ valuable jewels as collateral against his gambling debt.

Perhaps Fox’s outfit was the result of a dip into the film’s now-archived prop and wardrobe department?
