Kelvin Harrison Jr’s Cartier watch and jewellery combination
The Cyrano actor mixed his classic watch with some new Cartier twists
Kelvin Harrison Jr, the actor best-known for his roles in It Comes At Night, Luce and Waves – and, soon, Cyrano – wore a clever combination of Cartier to the latter film’s premiere this week in London.
The pieces in question? The Santos de Cartier watch, a large model with automatic movement and in 18K rose gold; the tactile Clash de Cartier bracelet in 18K rose gold; and the thorny Clash de Cartier necklace, in 18K rose gold and diamonds.
It was a lesson in classic meets cool: the spiky designs of the house’s new Clash collection adding a note of punk and attitude; and bringing a modern sensibility to the way one can wear their watches with their jewellery.
Awards season isn’t far away… hopefully there will be more of these kinds of combinations to come from the men who take to the red carpet.
