Kim Kardashian wears custom Swarovski to Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour

It was the turn of Los Angeles to host the latest glittering leg of Beyoncé’s Renaissance world tour last night and Queen Bey’s fans turned up the sparkle in honour of the event, which fell on her birthday. One of them was Kim Kardashian, who wore a custom Swarovski bejewelled outfit to the gig at the city’s SoFi Stadium.

It turned out to be a star-studded affair. Alongside Kardashian, her daughter North West, sister Kylie Jenner (who attended with Timothée Chalamet) and her ‘momanager’, Kris Jenner, the VIP section also seated Zendaya and Tom Holland, Meghan Markle, Travis Scott, Adele, Justin and Hailey Bieber, Chris Rock and Lizzo. Diana Ross even led the crowd in a chorus of “Happy Birthday” to Queen Bey.

Specially designed for the reality star and entrepreneur, Kardashian’s ensemble was composed of two elements – a shimmering bandeau bra inspired by the brand’s Millenia Collection, with rows of glittering white crystals in varying sizes, and a further Millenia-inspired body chain with layered necklaces, to create a stacked choker effect.

The brainchild of Swarovski’s creative director, Giovanna Engelbert, Millenia launched in 2021 as an unapologetically bold, chunky alternative to the dainty fashion jewels available at the time.

It’s not the first time the Millenia collection has made a dazzling appearance at a music event. Eagle-eyed Swifties will have spotted that Taylor Swift also chose to wear a crystal Millenia choker to perform alongside burlesque star Dita Von Teese in her ‘Bejewelled’ music video, which premiered last autumn. The piece in question, like Kardashian’s outfit, incorporated oversized white octagon-cut crystals set in rhodium plated metal.

Swarovski has also has previous form when it comes to Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour. Back in July, the singer wore a zebra-striped Jean-Paul Gaultier couture bodies to her New Jersey concert, which was encrusted with over 150,000 of its shimmering crystals.

So, Ms. Kardashian was in truly sparkling company.
