New additions to the range include pendants, bracelets, earrings and studs
In bloom, again. In Paris, Louis Vuitton has expanded its B Blossom collection of fine jewellery. New additions to the range include pendants, bracelets, earrings and studs.
B Blossom made history when it was launched in 2019. Then, it was the first fine jewellery collection by Louis Vuitton’s recently recruited artistic director for watches and jewellery, Francesca Amfitheatrof.
Born in Tokyo, Japan and raised between New York, Moscow and Rome, Amfitheatrof trained formally in London and holds degrees from both the Royal College of Art and Central Saint Martins. Successful stints consulting for brands and designers – among them Fendi, Chanel and Armani. Followed, in addition, to posts at Asprey, Garrard plus Tiffany & Co. At Louis Vuitton, she first homed in on the heritage’s brand’s emblematic Monogram canvas. Singling out details of the repeat pattern, she sketched the floral B Blossom collection. This year, 13 new B Blossom designs are cast from polished yellow or rose gold and set with white agate, pink opal, onyx and malachite, while white diamonds lend sparkling accents.
