Glittering golds and precious diamonds flicker and sparkle in Louis Vuitton’s latest expansion of their Empreinte fine jewellery collection.

Launched in 2004 to instant fanfare, the collection looks to the brand’s iconic trunks for reference, reimagining their timeless design through delicate metal work and gem-setting.

This year, Francesca Amfitheatrof, artistic director of jewellery and watches for Louis Vuitton, presents a new offering of Empreinte gems. The 14-piece line-up is entirely unisex and comes crafted in 18K yellow, white and pink gold.

Amfitheatrof draws on Louis Vuitton’s legendary history in luggage design by etching trunk studs onto handfuls of sparkly hoop earrings and stackable rings alongside bracelets that resemble the leather straps of travel trunks.

The LV signature – debuted by Georges Vuitton in 1896 – and the Monogram Flower motif also demand attention, shimmering brightly on the end of chains or the cords of bracelets.

A final touch is the collection’s versatile character – medallions can be switched up and worn as a multi-strand bracelet or necklace, while ear cuffs can be mixed and matched to enliven any look, depending on mood or occasion.
