Margot Robbie kicks off Barbie Movie press tour in Jessica McCormack jewels

Barbie Movie star Margot Robbie looked pretty in pink and accessorised with heart-shaped diamonds to kick off the film's press tour at the weekend, courtesy of London jeweller, Jessica McCormack

It’s the highly-anticipated flick that’s influenced everything from social media memes to high fashion. Now, Hollywood star Margot Robbie has kickstarted the Barbie Movie press tour in suitably sweet style, adorned in heart-shaped jewels by Jessica McCormack.

In images shared on the film’s official Instagram account, the Australian actor posed by a life-sized pink Barbie car for the first press call in the Los Angeles sunshine, ahead of the film’s July release.

Dressed in a suitably bubblegum co-ord outfit by Bottega Veneta and Manolo Blahnik heels (styled by Andrew Mukamal), Robbie’s Barbie-girl look was given a little extra bling courtesy of McCormack’s signature button-backed Gypset diamond earrings and ring.

The two-carat heart-shaped diamond drop earrings that Robbie sported had previously been seen at a teaser event for the movie at Las Vegas’ CinemaCon, which she and co-star Ryan Gosling attended back in April. There, the actor paired them with a pink and white gingham Prada two-piece ensemble and baby pink Christian Louboutin heels.

“Margot is the dream,” says Jessica McCormack, who recently celebrated the 10th anniversary of her elegant Mayfair flagship in London. “I couldn’t be more excited to see her looking so cute and Barbie chic in heart shaped Gypsets. They’re perfect on her. I’m so excited to see all the tour looks. And the film itself, which I know will be so much fun.”

If you fancy adding a bit of Barbie-inspired embellishment to your own looks, McCormack’s heart-shaped diamonds are available on her website now. The Barbie Movie, which was co-written and directed by Greta Gerwig is released on 21st July.
