The Pomellato for Women campaign features a starry cast of talent from 'Pomellato’s Godmother' Jane Fonda to Emmy-nominated actor Joey King

Across the world today, women are being celebrated on International Women’s Day – a time to reflect on the social, political and cultural achievements of women worldwide.
To mark the occasion, Italian fine jeweller Pomellato has debuted a new awareness campaign championing freedom and featuring appearances from an impressive range of decorated talent and political figures.
This year’s Pomellato for Women campaign is the sixth of its kind – the platform was launched in 2017 by CEO Sabina Belli to spur dialogue around equality and inclusivity.
For the sixth year in a row, the house welcomes back ‘Pomellato’s Godmother’ Jane Fonda, one of the most acclaimed actresses of her generation, for the 2023 campaign, alongside a host of emerging young voices such as Emmy-nominated actor Joey King. “I feel very lucky that so many women in my industry have paved the way before me,” says King.
Also featured in the campaign are Italian volleyball champion and LGBTQ+ rights activist Paola Egonu (“I’ve learned how strong women can be when we are together,” she says) and Iranian professional climber and women’s rights activist Nasim Eshqi.
“Unfortunately, our freedoms as women and people continue to come under threat across the world – this year it has become especially evident. We are being suppressed, challenged, reduced, silenced, killed,” says Belli, exploring the reasons behind the Pomellato for Women theme of 2023. “Everyone is responsible to rise up and speak out against our loss of freedoms; I am proud to present the Pomellato for Women video alongside some of our most inspirational and powerful sisters, to speak our truth and to raise our voices to protect freedom.”
To further extend their support, Pomellato has announced a new charity campaign for 2023 through the Kering Foundation’s program FreeFrom to help “provide the foundation for the long-term security needed desperately by survivors of domestic violence.”
