Prada launches its first fine jewellery collection, Eternal Gold

Prada has debuted fine jewellery for the first time in its 110 year history with Eternal Gold, a 48 piece collection made of 100% certified recycled gold

It’s a debut like no other. For the first time in its 110-year history, Prada has made a foray into fine jewellery with sustainability at the top of the agenda.

Eternal Gold, a 48-piece offering, is the brainchild of Miuccia Prada and her fellow creative director, Raf Simons. Here, the duo’s dedication to conscious and responsible operations truly shines, with each design spun entirely from 100% certified recycled gold.

Bringing a welcome transparency to the jewellery market, each piece is sold with an authenticity card that tells the wearer exactly how the gold was sourced – with origins spanning industrial gold to discarded jewellery.

Some designs feature traditional jewellery motifs – snakes, hearts – in architectural forms, from hoop earrings to chain necklaces. Others come festooned with a new stone, cut in the signature Prada triangle.

The collection is exclusively available in Prada stores, and 10 of the designs are only available on a made-to-order basis.
