Launched in 2018, Smiling Rocks has become a pioneer in the realm of lab-grown diamonds, remoulding the concept of fine jewellery with its stunning designs that offer luxury and transparency in equal measure.
Much to the excitement of their devoted clientele, this month, the New York-based jeweller launched its first high jewellery collection. Composed of 6 pieces, the offering is inspired by the natural world, showcasing delicate celestial motifs in a frosting of synthetic diamonds.
Opening the collection is the Dream necklace, a 14K white gold creation adorned with 1ct round and 1.5ct emerald lab-grown diamonds. Centred by a 6ct drop pear diamond, the sparkling piece is embellished with 54 diamonds, totalling 74.65ctw.
The sun is another key motif explored through the Rays high jewellery necklace. Inspired by the reflective nature of sun rays, the sparkling design is imagined in 14K white gold with 82 pear diamonds and a centre stone of 5.63cts.
Rounding off the collection is the Big Heart necklace, a playfully oversized design that forms the core of the line-up. Created using 73 diamonds studded in 14K white gold, the piece is sparkling conclusion to this debut collection, designed “for those who have a bold heart and want to wear it with pride.”
