Cartier dressed the stars at this years Met Gala 2022. The Paris based jeweller chose to dress friends of the brand in a varying mix of modern and vintage pieces from the house.
New York’s most famous fashion ball, the Met Gala took place last night. Cartier dressed Emma Corrin, Maude Apatow, Emma Chamberlain and Phoebe Bridgers in its most glittering designs.
Emma Corrin wore vintage Cartier earrings made in 1934, Cliquet pin from New York made in 1928 both platinum and diamonds mixed with vintage pocket watch from Paris 1914. She combined this with Cartier high jewellery rings one in platinum and diamonds, the other also combining platinum, diamonds, onyx and emeralds together with a Plume de Cartier 18k while gold and diamond ring.
Emma Chamberlain again mixed vintage and modern, wearing vintage tiara from Paris, 1911, together with a vintage Cartier Paris necklace from 1928. She combined this with a mix of six different wedding bands, Broderie de Cartier wedding band, 18k white gold, diamonds (x2), Étincelle de Cartier wedding band, 18k white gold, diamonds (x2) as well as Étincelle de Cartier wedding band, platinum, diamonds (x2) completed by Cartier 1895 earrings in platinum and diamonds and white gold and diamonds.
Maude Apatow wore a Cartier essential lines high jewellery necklace in platinum and diamonds combined with a vintage Cartier flower brooch made in Paris in 1939 of platinum, white gold and diamonds. Her look was completed with two rings from the house an Étincelle de Cartier ring, 18k white gold, diamonds, and a Broderie de Cartier wedding band, 18k white gold, diamonds together with Cartier High Jewellery earrings of platinum and diamonds.
Phoebe Bridgers wore vintage Cartier earrings from London in 1944, platinum, diamonds together with a vintage Cartier bracelet, from Paris 1937, platinum, diamonds combined with a Cartier High jewellery ring, 18k white gold, diamonds.
