Brilliant Earth has been named the exclusive fine jewellery partner of the House of Taylor and the Elizabeth Taylor Estate, giving the US jeweller access to one of the most commercially powerful legacies in jewellery.
A collection inspired by Taylor’s personal style and approach to collecting will launch in autumn through Brilliant Earth’s website and selected US showrooms. Designs, prices, product categories and materials have not yet been disclosed, including whether the collection will carry natural or lab-grown diamonds.
Commercially, the partnership is a significant coup for Brilliant Earth. Taylor was not simply a celebrity who wore jewellery, but one of the greatest collectors of the 20th century. Her collection contained serious natural diamonds, historic jewels and exceptional coloured gemstones, including the 33.19ct Krupp Diamond – later renamed the Elizabeth Taylor Diamond – and the 69.42ct Taylor-Burton Diamond.
Her collection achieved more than $137 million at Christie’s in 2011, giving Brilliant Earth a rich archive of stories and cultural references through which to reach established collectors and younger luxury consumers.
“Elizabeth Taylor was arguably the world’s most famous lover of jewellery, and the Elizabeth Taylor Estate trusted Brilliant Earth to carry that legacy forward,” said Beth Gerstein, co-founder and chief executive of Brilliant Earth. “That is not a responsibility we take lightly. Elizabeth Taylor didn’t just wear jewellery, she embodied it, shaping how it is understood as a form of personal expression. This collection is our commitment to honouring that legacy with the same intentionality, artistry, and sense of meaning she brought to every piece she wore.”
The collection is being developed with Clyde Duneier, the New York-based manufacturer and licensed producer of Elizabeth Taylor fine jewellery. Founded in 1910, the family-owned company will support its design, sourcing and production.
A proportion of revenue generated by official House of Taylor products will go to the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation, continuing the actor’s association with HIV and Aids activism.
The deal arrives as Brilliant Earth seeks to reduce its reliance on bridal and build a broader fine jewellery business. Bookings (dollar value of confirmed orders when they are placed) in the fine jewellery category increased 32% year on year during the second quarter of 2026, substantially outpacing the company’s 5.7% rise in quarterly sales to $115.1 million.
Brilliant Earth reported adjusted EBITDA of $5.8 million for the quarter, up from $3.2 million a year earlier, and operated 43 US showrooms at the end of the period. It expects full-year sales of between $459 million and $462 million.
