Taking up two of the largest spaces at Watches and Wonders, Parisian Maison Cartier is known for launching a plethora of exciting new timepieces each year. For 2025, eager watch journalists (hi!) and buyers were treated to a preview over 50 new models, themed around the ideas of magic and metamorphosis.
“Magic is at the heart of Cartier’s watchmaking vision. By drawing on the singular expertise of the Maison’s craftsmen, who transform stones and metal into precious objects, Cartier creates exceptional watches,” says Louis Ferla, the house’s President and CEO. “A watchmaker of shapes, Cartier has reimagined its rich heritage of signature creations and reinterpreted its stylistic codes with ever greater creativity and virtuosity.”
Here, we bring you our picks of the new Cartier novelties.
1. Cartier Tank À Guichets

Reprising a design that first appeared at Cartier in 1928, the interesting Tank à Guichets does away with a standard-looking dial and instead allows time to be read through a pair of windows (guichets), with the hour window at roughly the 12 o’clock position and the minutes aperture near the 6 o’clock position.
Powered by the specially developed 9755 MC hand-wound movement, the new watch comes in either a brushed gold or platinum finish.
2. Panthère de Cartier

Reinvigorated as a jewellery watch, the new Panthère timepiece gleams with hundreds of pavé-set diamonds and orange and yellow spessartites, interspersed with slivers of golden brown and black lacquer. The result? A glamorous new rose gold beast with a striped coat somewhere between a tiger and a zebra – a tribute to two of the Maison’s famous animal motifs.
3. Cartier Baignoire Bangle

Covered in fabulous diamond polka dots, the new Cartier Baignoire Bangle is a fabulous evolution of last year’s smash hit bangle.
4. Cartier Tressage

Speaking of flamboyant bracelet watches, let us introduce the new Tressage, which features sculptural twists of gold and diamonds that almost smother its rectangular dial.
5. Panthère Fine Jewellery Watch

Last year’s Reflection bangle has also evolved. This year’s iteration takes the form of Cartier’s iconic panther motif, complete with onyx spots and emerald eyes (it even has toe beans – yes, we checked!).
The big cat is featured staring into a diamond-framed watch dial hidden on the edge of the bangle, which can really only be read by its wearer. Cat lovers will have to wait a little longer for this one – it leaps into boutiques in September 2025.
