Casio have once again collaborated with Japanese streetwear brand SOPH to create a limited edition watch in honour of the FIFA World Cup.
Revisiting a similar collaboration for the 2018 edition of the most popular sports event in the world, Casio have announced the F.C. Real Bristol x G-Shock DW-6900 (for those not in the know, F.C. Real Bristol is SOPH’s fictional football team).
Within the fictional lore of F.C. Real Bristol, the team has just won a football tournament and they are being rewarded with G-Shock’s to commemorate the victory.
The watch itself is matte black stainless steel and features an off-white dial as well as the DW-900’s iconic triple graph layout while the vibes are pure vintage digital watch.
The dial also features the F.C. Real Bristol logo as well as the simple message that “Football is Beautiful”.
When the backlight is activated, the dial illuminates blue while a bright red Bristol logo appears underneath
The collaboration is currently scheduled to only go on sale in Japan and will be available at SOPH stores nationwide but the watch is extremely limited and only 2026 pieces will be manufactured.
It will retail for just £106 but good luck getting one in the UK.
There has been no shortage of great watches on display throughout the World Cup, where only the final remains after England were beaten by Argentina with two late goals.

Only 16 were ever manufactured and on the off chance any of them come to market, you’ll need to shell out at least $250,000 for the grail.
His sometimes friend and occasional enemy, Drake, also went into ultra-rare territory when he attended an early group stage game in his native Toronto. The “Nice for What” rapper was sporting an extremely limited Richard Mille. Only 30 of the Tourbillon Fleur have ever been made and Drizzy, with his keen eye for brash and complex timepieces, made sure he laid his hands on one. Originally retailing for a smudge less than $300,000, the watch is thought to be worth around ten times that on the rare occasion they come to market.
