Actress Dakota Johnson has been named as the global ambassador for the Italian luxury jewellery brand Roberto Coin.
Johnson starred in the Italian jewellery brand’s latest campaign, titled “The Art Of Dreaming”, which was shot in Venice, Italy, which also happens to be Coin’s birthplace.
The campaign saw the Fifty Shades of Grey star adorned in some of the jeweller’s famed collections, such as ‘Love In Verona‘, ‘Venetian Princess‘, ‘Navarra‘ and more.
Johnson was revealed as the new face of the brand during one of Coin’s events in New York City last week. Speaking about his connection to the actress, Coin told JCK Magazine: “What inspires me most about Dakota Johnson is her refusal to be easily defined—incredibly, much like me. Authentic, multifaceted, and a lateral thinker.”
He added: “Dakota turns simplicity into art. She has this magnetic stillness about her, a grounded elegance that draws you in without ever asking for attention. Roberto Coin’s designs do the same. They don’t perform—they reveal.
“Both feel like they were made for the person who doesn’t need permission to shine but who understands that real luxury is deeply personal.”
Coin also opened up about why he chose to look for a global brand ambassador, explaining that it was a way to reach new generations and that the person chosen for the role was someone he personally respects rather than just a famous actor.

“Roberto Coin’s jewelry is about storytelling—crafted with intention, layered with meaning, and designed for those who see beauty as a form of self-expression,” he told the outlet. “The right ambassador, whether a public figure or someone outside the spotlight, is someone who shares that instinct to live artfully.”
He continued: “What matters most is that they carry the same creative DNA: someone who values detail, embraces creativity, and wears their individuality with confidence. Just as every Roberto Coin piece carries a hidden ruby, our ideal ambassador carries something unseen but deeply felt—an internal light that shines like gold.”
