David Beckham has been everywhere lately. One day, he’s enjoying watching England at the FIFA World Cup in America and the next, he’s back home to take his mum to the opening day of Wimbledon. And he does it all with impeccable style.
A longtime ambassador of Tudor, the Manchester United and Real Madrid legend was showing off one of the brand’s newest offerings, the Black Bay 58.
The Black Bay is one of Tudor’s most popular models and the new version keeps the classic features while giving it a sportier twist. Slimmed down to 39mm, the watch is smaller than past references, keeping it on trend as smaller watches become in vogue.

A relatively simple watch for Beckham, who can have ostentatious taste (including the custom diamond studded Tudor he was seen wearing on Centre Court last year), the Black Bay 58 is perfectly suited to the occasion with Wimbledon preferring class over flash.
Shortly after receiving his Knighthood last year, Beckham appeared at Wimbeldon (again with his mother) to watch Carlos Alcaraz take on Fabio Fogani.

During the match, he was seen wearing a one-of-a-kind Tudor Black Bay Chrono, which was a gift to him from the brand for his 50th birthday.
Having worked with Tudor since 2017, it was fitting that the watch was an elaborate custom job. The bracelet features links set with diamonds with stones also on the indices, making it stand out among Tudor’s generally classical designs.
Beckham is also known to have one of the most impressive watch collections in the game today, even if you exclude his comprehensive access to everything in the Tudor vault.
He is known to own a Patek Philippe Grand Complications Celestial 6102P, which is one of the most expensive pieces he has been seen wearing at a public event before the Tudor partnership with the unique model costing almost £300,000.
Beckham, as with most watch aficionados, also has a keen eye for a Rolex. The Rolex he’s most closely associated with is the Yacht-Master he wore alongside future wife Victoria when they announced their engagement back in 1998. Then, a new addition to Rolex’s arsenal. Soon after, it became a highly in-demand model and a core staple of the brand.
The Beckham’s would later wear matching Rolex’s again in 2022 when enjoying a holiday. This time they went for the Day-Date in rose gold with green dials though the trend of spouses wearing matching watches has yet to gain widespread appeal.
One Rolex Victoria didn’t partake in is the custom Deepsea Sea-Dweller her husband wore to the 2012 NBA Playoffs which was completely black and PVD coated. Rolex never produced in those colours and materials so Beckham had it modified off-market to his personal taste.
