Drake – in his decade plus spent at the top of the Hip Hop game – has never shrunk from displaying the finest jewels and timepieces on his body.
Over the years, the 6 God has been seen wearing everything from fairly standard Rolexes to more eccentric Richard Mille pieces, and just about everything in between.

Now, a fan or a collector has the opportunity to purchase the watch Drake wore on the iconic cover of his 2011 album Take Care, as it has been made available on Wind Vintage.
The album has special providence as Take Care is the project that cemented him as the next King of Hip Hop with his unique blend of introspective lyrics and moody synth-inspired beats and the piece can also be seen in his video for “Marvin’s Room”.
What is the piece?
The timepiece is a Rolex GMT-Master II in yellow gold and can be seen clearly on the album cover as the rapper holds a goblet while looking forlornly downwards.
The watch was introduced by Rolex in 2006 and can boast 48 factory-set diamonds to go with black sapphires on the bezel. The back is also uniquely emblazoned with an engraving of Drake’s OVO owl.
How much is it selling for?
Without the attachment to Drake, these watches generally go on the market for around $100,000. However, the Rolex has been put up for sale at $500,000.
The listing makes clear that the watch is not being sold by Drake himself and that the anonymous seller obtained the piece more than a decade ago from the Canadian superstar.
The watch is also being sold alongside some other Drake memorabilia including an owl statue from the cover of Take Care, backstage passes and tour merchandise.
Coincidentally, Drake’s ninth album, appropriately titled Iceman, is currently set for release on May 15.
How can I buy Drake’s watch?
The piece is available exclusively through Wind Vintage. Unlike many celebrity watches which come on the market and go to auction, the Rolex has a set price and any interested buyers have to send an enquiry through Wind Vintage’s website. At the time of writing, the watch is still available.
