Tiffany & Co. continues its string of New York City moments. In the wake of opening the doors to its refreshed Landmark flagship store, the American luxury brand also debuted a new diamond necklace on the red carpet at this year’s Met Gala.

This was no ordinary diamond necklace: worn by the event’s co-host Dua Lipa, the platinum collier totalling 200 carats. At its centre, the Tiffany & Co. Lucida Star necklace features the white Legendary diamond as a focal point. A tribute to the brand’s iconic yellow Tiffany Diamond, the 100 carat Legendary diamond has been cut to a near-identical cushion shape. The stone features 82 facets and is D-coloured; its origin is Botswana.

Dua Lipa completed the get-up with a vintage monochrome black and white tweed Chanel haute couture gown, originally designed by Karl Lagerfeld for the brand’s 1992 autumn/ winter collection, and a Tiffany & Co. platinum ring set with a total of more than 9 carats of diamonds. Her platinum Tiffany & Co. Schlumberger Sixteen Stone Ring also sparkles with white diamonds.
