Hamilton are set for a starring role in the new Steven Spielberg film, Disclosure Day.
Renowned for their appearances in films such as Intestellar, Men in Black and Oppenheimer, Hamilton are now collaborating with the most iconic filmmaker of them all for his new sci-fi blockbuster.
Set for release on June 12, Disclosure Day is about the quest of a meteorologist and a cyber security whistleblower to reveal to the world that there is extra-terrestrial life while they battle government forces looking to suppress the truth. The ensemble cast includes Emily Blunt, Josh O’Conner, Colman Domingo, Colin Firth and Eve Hewson.
In the film, O’Conner’s Dr. Daniel Kellner wears a Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical, a piratical hand-wound piece perfect for the versatile hand thanks to its clarity and robustness.
Firth’s character, named Noah Scanlon, wears the Jazzmaster Open Heart which features visible mechanics and is a refined piece of horlogy.
Both watches are said to represent the differences in the two characters and the theme of time is expected to play a large part in the plot of the movie and how characters make decisions.
The watches are also available now to buy. The Khaki Field Mechanical is on the market for £615 while the Jazzmaster Open Heart can be purchased for a pricier £990. Both pieces can be bought on Hamilton’s website.
