Kendra Scott has returned to the New York Fashion Week runway through a partnership with Brazilian fashion brand PatBO.
Jewellery by the US brand appeared in PatBO’s spring/summer 2027 show yesterday, with the designs available to purchase immediately through Kendra Scott’s website and stores.
The appearance marked Kendra Scott’s first return to the NYFW runway in 20 years, according to Glossy, which interviewed the company’s chief executive Chris Blakeslee ahead of the show. “We want things that are going to show up in New York Fashion Week to be the greatest expression of the brand, but we also want all of our consumers to be able to participate in it,” Blakeslee told the publication.
The partnership gave Kendra Scott a route into the wider fashion industry while retaining a direct link to sales. Rather than using the show to preview products months before their commercial release, the company adopted a see-now, buy-now model that allowed customers to shop the jewellery as it appeared.
Glossy reported that Kendra Scott and PatBO are also planning a jointly designed collection. The jewellery company is considering a larger presence at future fashion weeks as it expands its ambitions beyond its best-known fashion jewellery offer.
Kendra Scott has already moved into additional categories, including fine jewellery, eyewear and fragrance. Its Western-inspired Yellow Rose brand, launched in 2023, spans jewellery, clothing, boots, hats and leather goods. It is one of the largest privately owned jewellery brands in the US. The company generated approximately $500 million in revenue in 2023, up nearly 20% year on year, and reported further double-digit growth in 2024. Temasek-backed 65 Equity Partners acquired a significant minority stake in the business that year, with founder Kendra Scott retaining majority control.
