Fans of Louis Vuitton’s emblematic Tambour watch are in for a treat as the French house introduces to brand-new 37mm models to the line, one in pink gold, the other in diamond-encrusted platinum.
The new Tambour Convergence is inspired by a shaft of sunlight breaking through the clouds and, instead of a normal dial, features two rotating discs with a gold (or platinum) lozenge marker to display hours and minutes at the top of a close-fronted case.

The shape of the guichet framing the window is designed after the edge of a cloud, as well as decorative features found in the interior decoration of the Louis Vuitton family home.

The Tambour Convergence is also installed with the first automatic movement developed in house by Louis Vuitton’s La Fabrique du Temps facility. The new in-house LFT MA01.01 automatic movement is complete with a 45-hour power reserve.

Decorative touches include a mirrored finish on the case and dia of the pink gold model, which provides contrast to the brushed brass hour and minute disks. It is worn on a beige calf leather strap.
The platinum piece, meanwhile, is decorated with 795 diamonds and worn on a blue leather strap.
