Kindred Lubeck, the designer behind Taylor Swift’s engagement ring, is offering fans a chance to buy a similar ring at a Sotheby’s auction – find out more below.
Last summer, Taylor Swift ignited a global trend for elongated, cushion-cut diamond engagement rings when she debuted her own sparkling jewel from fiancé, Travis Kelce.
Overnight, Artifex jewellery designer Kindred Lubeck became the one of the most desirable fine jewellers in New York, gaining over 172,000 likes for an image of a similar-looking diamond engagement ring on her Instagram feed.

Now, the goldsmith and jeweller has announced that very diamond ring is actually available for sale at Sotheby’s.
The ring is part of ‘Sotheby’s Gem Drop’ – a monthly online-only auction series showcasing a curated selection of precious jewels, including diamonds and colourful gemstones. Much like Swift’s ring, this version features an exceptional coloured diamond at its centre – this time weighing 4.30 carats – held with a prong mounting. Its 18K gold setting has vintage-inspired, hand-carved detailing, set with further round diamonds for a hint of sparkle with every movement.

Though it comes with an estimated value of $60,000 – 80,000 (£44,000 – 58,676) the piece is offered with no buyer’s premium, making it an excellent opportunity to snap up one of the world’s most coveted jewels at a fairly competitive price.
