Lukfook has opened its first UK store at Westfield Stratford City in London, marking the Hong Kong-based group’s entry into the British market and a significant step in its expansion beyond Greater China.

The store opened on September 10 and forms part of Lukfook’s three-year strategy to enter three new overseas markets. Wong Wai Sheung, chairman and chief executive of Lukfook Group, described the UK as “a core hub in Europe…offering enormous market potential that serves as a key driver to realise this plan” and access to international visitors and an affluent domestic customer base.

The opening extends a rapid period of international expansion. Lukfook entered Vietnam during its latest financial year and opened 20 overseas stores, taking its network outside Greater China to 51 locations as of 31 March 2026, up from 31 a year earlier. It has since returned to Singapore, added another location in Vietnam and entered the UK.

Its existing international network spans the US, Canada, Australia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, the Philippines and Laos, using a mixture of directly operated and licensed stores.

The expansion is beginning to make a measurable contribution. Across Hong Kong, Macao and its overseas markets, Lukfook increased revenue by 21.2% to HK$9.78 billion for the year ended March 31, 2026. Strong demand for gold and increased sales of fixed-price jewellery helped lift total group revenue during this period by nearly 30% to HK$17.21 billion, while gross profit was up 42.9% to a record HK$6.31 billion – setting a new record for the jewellery group.
