When Sabrina Carpenter headlined at Coachella at the weekend, she sampled the introduction from Madonna’s ‘Vogue’ (also hitting the headlines this week as The Devil Wears Prada 2 premiered in New York).
Then, to the delight of Madonna fans everywhere, she brought out Madonna herself – dressed in a matching corseted outfit – and the pair performed ‘Like A Prayer’ and a brand new song, which the Queen of Pop teased was part of a new album.

Twenty years after Madonna headlined the festival herself, and performed songs from Confessions on a Dance Floor for the first time in the United States, the singer has announced that Part 2 is officially in the works – and will be dropping on July 3rd.
Clearing out her Instagram account and changing her biography to “Time goes by so slowly”, a lyric from Hung Up (which debuted on Confessions Part I in 2005), Madonna the released a new image of herself to celebrate the album’s release. In it, she wears a pair of aquamarine and diamond drop earrings by London-based jeweller, Hirsh.

Part of the maker’s ‘Regal’ line, the jewels feature 4.88 carats of detachable aquamarine drops and 0.60 carats of white diamonds, all set in 18K white gold.
“It is an honour to see Madonna wearing Hirsh in celebration of Confessions II,” says Sophia Hirsh, owner and creative director of Hirsh London. “She has long been an inspiration to me, and I truly admire her passion and unique ability to reinvent herself while always remaining unmistakably Madonna.”
Back in 2024, Madonna went viral online for wearing nothing but jewels in an iconic Instagram post.
The ‘Like a Prayer’ hitmaker has donned various glamorous accessories in the post, including a pair of diamond cross earrings and a large choker-style necklace from Swarovski, set with cascading octagon-cut clear crystals. On her wrist, Madonna sported a huge collection of friendship bracelets, including one that was strung with a small, gold cross charm.
