Ryan Goslings latest starring role in ‘Project Hail Mary’ sees him sport a vivid TAG Heuer timepiece – check it out below.
The film sees Ryan Gosling play a science teacher named Ryland Grace. He wakes up on a spaceship light years from home with no recollection of who he is or how he got there.
One of the constants throughout though, is the the TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E5 on his wrist.
The piece is featured in a titanium case paired with a vivid red strap on his wrist and accompanies him throughout all aspects of his mission.
In a press release TAG Heuer said: “Integrated naturally into the character’s daily life aboard the spacecraft, the watch becomes a constant presence during moments of analysis, experimentation and decision making, remaining with Grace during periods of isolation and quiet reckoning.”

Throughout the film Grace [Gosling] begins to uncover his mission as his memory returns: solve the riddle of the mysterious substance causing the sun to die out.
‘Project Hail Mary’ brings Andy Weir’s best-selling novel by the same name to the screen. Directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, with a screenplay by Drew Goddard, it is set for release on March 20th [UK].

Gosling became a TAG Heuer Brand Ambassador in 2021 and has worn TAG pieces for multiple roles. Each watch has become an essential part of each role for Gosling as he revealed in an interview with GQ.
In the interview, he discussed his TAG Heuer partnership and shared: “I notice watches, and watches in films, certainly so much more than I did before. I think I also kind of recognize the combination of artistry and technology—this balance between innovation and tradition.”
His role as Ken in ‘Barbie’ [2023] saw him with three vintage TAG watches on his wrist at once. These were an three different kinds Carrea.
An all gold [ref 1158 CHN] with a gold milanese bracelet, a slightly different all gold Carrera [ref 110.515], and a third [ref 2448 NT].
Other roles he has sported the brand include: Colt Seavers in ‘The Fall Guy’ [2024] and Sierra Six in ‘The Gray Man’ [2022].
