Sophie Turner made a surprise appearance at the Ballon d’Or awards in London this week to see Harry Kane get crowned the best footballer on the planet over the last year.
The Game of Thrones star showed off a new jet black hair do (likely for her upcoming role as Lara Croft) and was appropriately respelendent in Louis Vuitton, given she is an ambassador for the brand.
On the jewellery front, Turner was sporting LV’s Le Damier necklace, made out of 18 carat yellow gold and set with 130 brilliant cut diamonds which total 2.99 carats with the design sporting the brand’s iconic Damier pattern.
Turner was wearing the long variant of the necklace which is currently retailing for £49,500.
She paired the necklace with a matching Le Damier ring on her index finger. The piece is again made from 18 carat yellow gold and paved with 24 brilliant cut diamonds totalling 0.55 carats. Like the necklace, the ring features the Damier design and can be bought online and from Louis Vuitton boutiques for £6,800.
Elsewhere in the world of Louis Vuitton, Emma Stone (alongside Turner) showed up for the brand at Paris Fashion Week earlier this month.
For the show, Stone appropriately wore a tailored blue suit blazer and matching skirt from the iconic fashion house. To accompany the plunging suit, Stone opted for a long pendant necklace from the Color Blossom collection which features the iconic Louis Vuitton monogram flower motif.
Set in 18 karat yellow gold, the delicate piece is also accented with diamonds and features blue sodalite stones to complement her attire.
LV has also been making moves in the watch department.
The brand recently announced that their classic timepiece, the Monterey, was getting a ceramic makeover.
Last year, the watch was brought out in a limited edition yellow gold while off-market ceramic versions were featured in fashion head Nicolas Ghesquière’s runway shows, a hint at the full release to come.
Now, two new ceramic models, one in a lush green and the other in a deep black are set to be made available to the public. The rest of the watch is largely the same as the version that debuted last year with its dressy 37mm size and parsed down aesthetic, combined with a self-winding movement.
But there are some distinguishing features to the watches. On the green version, the hands also feature that iconic Louis Vuitton yellow, a reminder of the stitching that adorns all of LV’s leather goods.
Conversely, the black model is sleeker and features red hands and railtrack for a distinctly sporty feel while also strongly harking back to the original 1988 model.
