At Watches and Wonders 2026 in Geneva, Switzerland, TAG Heuer have spotlighted the most iconic piece in its vast arsenal – the Monaco.
At the convention, TAG have unveiled two fresh reinterpretations of the famous timepiece, signalling a new chapter for the silhouette that honours a tradition going back to 1969 while still seeking to innovate for a 21st Century clientele.
Check out the details of the new TAG Heuer Monaco watches below.
Monaco Chronograph

In the almost 60 years since the Monaco first revolutionised the watch industry by being the first square automatic chronograph, TAG Heuer have rightfully never been shy in showcasing their crown jewel. With this 2026 reinvention, TAG have harked back to the original Monaco with a sleek, striking design that is sharp and irresistible in its geometry.
Now, closer to a pure square, the Monaco Chronograph is crafted from titanium with a rose gold case. The watch will be available in three different colourways. One of which is the signature blue made famous by Steve McQueen in Le Mans while the dark green takes the wearer back to the glory days of British motor racing. A third black model is pure contemporary refinement.
Monaco Evergraph

For the Monaco Evergraph, TAG Heuer have unveiled a chronograph mechanism that has been worked on in their factory for more than five years. Gone are traditional levers and springs, in are two flexible bi-stable components – one for start and stop and the other for reset.
The new technology ensures that there is no change in the performance of the watch over time.
For TAG, the Evergraph is rather radical in appearance with the design bringing the mechanics – mainly the barrel, gear train and oscillator on display.
Despite all the innovations, the Evergraph also remains in step with TAG Heuer’s illustrious history with a blue colourway again emitting thoughts of the King of Cool, Steve McQueen, while a black and red option serves as a reminder of the brand’s symbiotic relationship with motor racing.
Earlier this year, TAG Heuer unveiled a watch which adapts for every Formula 1 grand prix.
The Connected Calibre E5 45mm features a brushed and sandblasted Grade 2 titanium case featuring a black DLC coating. The phases of a Grand Prix weekend are displayed along the curved touchscreen bezel.
It also has integrated pushers with black DLC and red lacquer accents, a black rubber and black DLC steel crown which TAG Heuer describes as ‘a subtle racing touch.’ A PPG sensor and the red F1 logo on the case-back ‘celebrate the collaboration and reinforce timepiece’s high-octane identity,’ according to the watchmakers.
The watch has a digital time display which sits underneath an F1 track outline and unique design. The outline and design change to reflect each of the 24 races on the calendar.
The design details include the countries flag, race name, and its own racetrack silhouette, all automatically evolving with each race weekend.
