Taylor Swift married Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden in front of hundreds of A-listers more than a month ago but there has been scant sight of their wedding rings.
Attending the nuptials between her longtime recording engineers, Oli Jacobs and Laura Sisk, in Surrey, Swift made one of her first public appearances since her own wedding.
Snapped at the event, pictures show Swift wearing her enormous engagement ring with a simple gold band underneath, which is presumably the piece Kelce slid onto her hand as Adam Sandler officiated their wedding.
Swift was also wearing a Cartier Love Unlimited bracelet and a discreet pearl necklace.
Back in the US, Kelce seemed to confirm that they appear to have matching rings as he attended a Kansas City Chiefs pre-season game over the weekend with his own gold wedding band on full display.
The rings were first seen when Swift and Kelce attended the wedding of the NFL star’s former teammate, JuJu Smith-Schuster.
Photos snapped at the event showed Swift, radiant in a pink floral gown by New York label Markarian, had stacked her diamond engagement ring alongside her new wedding band, whilst other images appeared to show Kelce, handsome in a slim-fitting black suit, flashing his gold band as he held up a parasol to shade himself and his new wife from the Californian sunshine.
Swift and Kelce announced their engagement last year with the ‘Love Story’ star posting a collage of pictures of them set to her song “High School Beau” which she wrote about the NFL star.
A close up image in the photo carousel revealed Taylor’s diamond engagement ring (as well as her diamond-encrusted Cartier watch) which had been created for Travis Kelce to pop the question by Kindred Lubeck. The New York-based goldsmith and jewellery designer specialises in unique gemstone pieces featuring delicate hand-engraving, which she sells under the label Artifex Fine Jewelry.
It was also revealed that Lubeck had designed Swift’s new vintage-inspired ring in collaboration with the loved-up Kansas City Chiefs player. The piece features a large old mine brilliant cut diamond, weighing at least 8 carats, and a delicately hand-engraved yellow gold band. Fellow designer Maddy Sangster, of UK jewellers Heavenly London, estimated its value to be “around £500,000” (around $673,600).
Despite the rings having now been publicised, scant details are still available about the highly-publicised wedding which shut down parts of New York and costs millions of dollars.
Even though no photography of the event has yet been shared, it is known that Swift wore Cartier jewellery during the nuptials, however neither Swift’s representatives or Cartier have yet revealed what specific jewels she wore during the ceremony.
It has also been reported that Cartier watches were also up for grabs during a raffle that took place during the event. Guests played guests throughout the celebration with the chance to win a number of luxury prizes including the watches and Travis Kelce’s Chevrolet Chevelle that he drove during his first date with the singer.
