Taylor Swift is arguably the most famous woman in the world. Ever divisive, every fashion and accessory choice she goes with is scrutinised under a microscope. Along with longtime stylist, Joseph Cassell, Swift has created a distinct personal style that combines a smart-casual college aesthetic with traditional glamour.
She is also associated with various signature elements of style from her red lipstick to initialised jewellery and it’s on that note that we’re going to take a look at some of the jewels most closely associated with the pop icon over the course of her career and high-profile personal life.
Swift’s approach to jewellery is a mixed one. She can go for ultra high-end pieces just as much as she can cheaper, more accessible brands on the high street. And while it is rare she goes for anything too ostentatious, of late her red carpet looks have gotten more daring and extravagant, showcasing an evolution of her style.
Below, we have looked at some of Swift’s best pieces and the jewellery most closely associated with her.
Dana Rebecca Designs Alexa Jordyn Marquise Marge earrings
Swift stepping out at a Kansas City Chiefs game is always an event and she was on sight for their victory over the Indianapolis Colts to begin the season 2-0. For the game, she repped designer Dana Gordon’s eponymous brand with these earrings which feature 1 carat brilliant marquise cut diamonds in a braid pattern.
Lorraine Schwartz ruby and diamond thigh chain
Swift has never been a risque dresser but pushed the boat out a bit at this year’s Grammy Awards where she paired a red Vivienne Westwood dress with a thigh chain accompanied by a T charm that was studded with rubies on both sides. While the look received considerable talk, the thigh chain trend is yet to catch on.
Neil Lane diamonds
For the music video of her 2017 single “Look What You Made Me Do”, Swift went full on bling for a scene where she is sat in a bathtub full of diamonds. While the bath diamonds are likely set decoration, the endless bracelets, rings, necklaces and earrings adorning Swift are absolutely not. All of the pieces are from celebrity jeweller, Neil Lane, with the total cost estimated to be around $10 million. Even Swift could only loan them for the shoot.
Lorraine Schwartz custom earrings
Made especially for Swift’s appearance at the 2023 Grammy Awards, these custom Lorraine Schwartz earrings are kite shaped and feature a staggering 136 carats which have an estimated value of around $3 million, making them the most expensive piece of jewellery the singer has worn on the red carpet.
Tiffany & Co. Diamond Wire ring
Swift seldom wares her own jewellery when performing but during the European leg of the Eras Tour in 2024 she wore this Tiffany Diamond Wire ring which features two T’s on it, giving the piece a double meaning. It has since become something of a regular fixture in Swift’s jewellery arsenal. The ring is also far more affordable, costing just a little over $2,000.
NeverNoT Touch Down necklace
Swift’s outfits and jewellery have gotten a great deal more sports inspired since she began her relationship with Travis Kelce and this yellow gold with white diamonds and pink sapphires necklace fits the bill with its Touch Down name. Swift has also become a particularly big fan of the London based NeverNoT brand over the last couple of years.
Foundrae Heart earrings
While Kelce proposed with an antique ring with an estimated value of $1 million, Swift was already decked out in jewels when he got down on bended knee. One of her favourite brands in recent years has been Foundrae with these earrings in particular a highlight of many of her recent outfits. She had also worn the heartshaped earrings with an encrusted T during her Eras Tour making them one of the pieces most closely associated with Swift.
