The Gentlemen returns to Netflix today and with that a fresh arsenal of the finest watches and jewels money can buy. Leading the large ensemble cast again is Theo James, also seen in The White Lotus, Divergent and The Time Traveller’s Wife, as Edward Horniman, a former Army captain turned Duke turned gangster.
James is also a longtime watch connoisseur with a particular fondness for Omega, frequently seen in a number of their best models, but he has begun expanding his horizons, flirting with brands such as IWC, while also getting on the smaller watch hype.
With The Gentlemen back on the small screen, now is the perfect time to look at the best of Theo James’ watch game. Check it out below.
Omega Seamaster 300M 007 Editition

James has proven to be an avid fan of Omega, which is fitting given he has been rumoured to be in the running to be the next James Bond for what feels like forever. While James, who is now in his forties, is unlikely to takeover Daniel Craig’s tuxedo, he did wear his actual watch, the Seamaster 300M, which starred in No Time to Die. You can too if you have £10,000.
Patek Philippe Nautilus

While playing Eddie Horniman in The Gentlemen, James gets to wear no shortage of fine things but nothing is finer than the Patek Philippe Nautilus that he sports throughout most of season one. The type of watch that costs in excess of £200,000, it’s a piece fit for a duke and contrasts nicely with the Panerai he is also seen wearing occasionally.
IWC Ingenieur

James’ taste in watches has gotten more varied of late as he moves away from his tried and trusted Omega’s. In particular, it looks like he has found a new favourite in the IWC Ingenieur, which he was seen wearing at both Wimbledon and an event for Range Rover. With a fresh turquoise dial, it’s a watch that proves bigger isn’t always better as despite its 35mm size, it packs quite the punch.
Omega Speedmaster Moonshine Gold

Turning up at the 2024 SAG Awards to celebrate his turn in The White Lotus, James opted for the Speedmaster Moonshine Gold, a 2022 model that looks like a vintage piece. A fascinating piece made out of 18 karat gold that features a completely transparent caseback while it also features an inscription that reads “First Watch Worn on the Moon”. Not a bad claim to fame.
Rolex Submariner Smurf
Released in 2008 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Rolex, James wears the Submariner Smurf in The White Lotus and is quite the standout piece. As well as the evocative blue dial that earns the watch its name, this particular Submariner is made out of 18 karat white gold, a first for the model.
