Forget Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, Tom Holland and Zendaya are the it couple of the moment. Not only are they starring in two of the biggest movies of the year together – Spider-Man: Brand New Day and The Odyssey – they are doing it with effortless outfit coordination, right down to their timepieces.
Holland has been a watch guy for a while, preferring the big Swiss brands of Rolex and Patek Philippe over anything too left field. While Zendaya’s red carpet moments have often seen her opt for glamorous fashion watches which are heavy on the diamonds.
Now, the pair are in full swing on the Spider-Man: Brand New Day press tour across Europe, and have both firmly planted their flag in the Rolex camp (of course, Zendaya was named as an ambassador for the company late last year).

At a photocall in Berlin, Holland wore a Rolex Cosmograph Daytona, which is clearly a favourite from his own personal collection (rather than the work of a stylist) as he wore during a layover at Wimbledon last year. Given the watch costs almost £70,000, it’s good to see he’s getting value out of it. And that price is for a model without the ice blue dial that adorns Holland’s piece, which is distinctly rarer.
Zendaya, on the other hand, opted for something a little bit more old-school with the Role 1908. Only released in 2023, the watch evokes mid-century dress watches and the Euphoria star has been seen wearing it a few times in recent months, most notably when she turned up at the Beto Classic to watch her now-husband play in a padel tournament.

As an ambassador for Rolex, Zendaya has been sporting some pretty stunning watches throughout the press tour.
Last week, on the red carpet, she wore a Lady Datejust, the same model as the one she wore to the Oscars earlier this year but without the diamonds and emeralds.
Just 28mm in size, the watch is elegant and dainty, with a lovely Jubilee bracelet, and the model sums up Zendaya’s ornate and highly considered style.
She has also been spotted wearing a Daytona from 1988 which was the first with an automatic movement and is easily spotted by the unique placement of its running seconds configuration.
In a social media message accompanying a video celebrating Zendaya’s career so far, Rolex said of their partnership: “A bold cultural phenomenon. Actor and producer Zendaya is an influential figure in contemporary entertainment who transcends standards with remarkable force and versatility. We are proud to stand by her side and look forward to witnessing her continue to break new ground.”
With Zendaya joining the Rolex brand, she now sits in a roster that also includes superstars such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Roger Federer and Tiger Woods, alongside a host of other entertainers and sports people.
