Following the London photocall for Spider-Man: No Way Home earlier this month, for which Zendaya wore a crystal-embellished outfit by Alexander McQueen and silvery webbed earrings, the star opted for a similarly spider-themed outfit for the film’s latest premiere.
For the Los Angeles screening, Zendaya again worked with long-time stylist Law Roach and chose a bespoke nude-coloured dress with a low, scooped back and black web embellishments by Valentino Haute Couture. She topped off the look with a suitably superhero-like lace mask, made specially for the occasion by Valentino’s designer, Pierpaolo Piccoli.

And what could be more perfect for a webbed gown than a sprinkling of dewy white diamonds? Zendaya shimmered in a pair of high jewellery drop earrings by Bulgari, which were created in platinum and set with two pear-shaped diamonds and four round-cut brilliants. She also chose a platinum high jewellery ring bearing a round brilliant weighing 5.19 carats, and another sleek diamond brand set with 11.37 carats of emerald-cut diamonds.
Prior to this, Zendaya had nodded to another Marvel villain from the Spiderman film universe when she appeared at the Ballon D’Or in Paris in a vintage Roberto Cavalli dress with a gold ‘spine’ jewel down its back – a reference, perhaps, to Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus character, whose mechanical tentacles emerge from the centre of his back.
