The biggest night in Hollywood has come and gone with plenty of dazzling first-time winners, even more dazzling outfits and, of course, a parade of exquisite jewellery to go with those coveted little gold statues.
After a dramatic few months following the devastation caused by the California wildfires, Tinseltown was once again back in the spotlight, celebrating its brave first responders as well its talented entertainers.
Here, we take a look at the glitziest accessories of the evening…
Zoe Saldaña

Saldaña took home the gong for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Emilia Perez (as well as the prize for the most emotional speech of the evening) wearing a stunning high jewellery necklace by Cartier, featuring an 18k white gold panther adorned in diamonds, onyx and emeralds, plus a pair of platinum and diamond high jewellery stud earrings.
Adrien Brody

Best Actor winner Brody also won the award for best brooch of the evening, with an oversized diamond and emerald winged brooch by Elsa Jin – a designer that Brody has favoured for years for his red carpet appearances.
Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez adorned herself in a gleaming array of diamond jewels by the Roman house of Bulgari. The Only Murders in the Building star chose a high jewellery necklace in platinum with a central pear shaped diamond drop (weighing just over 10 carats), plus a pair of high jewellery diamond stud earrings and a clutch of diamond rings.
Mikey Madison

Clutching her award for Best Actress for her role in Anora (which also clinched the Oscar for Best Film), Madison looked radiant in a suite of archival diamond jewels by Tiffany & Co.
Timothee Chalamet

He may not have taken home the coveted Best Actor trophy as he’d hoped, but Timothee Chalamet was still a ray of sunshine in his bright yellow suit, plus a sprinkling of vintage jewels from Cartier including a gold and diamond necklace (just seen peeping out from his collar) and a mini Baignoire watch from the mid-1990s, adorned in diamonds, rubies and sapphires.
Ariana Grande

Nominated for the best supporting actress award for her part in Wicked, Ariana Grande looked positively fairy-like in a pale pink gown, and delicate diamond jewellery by De Beers, including the maker’s Adonis Rose necklace in white gold, set with a 6.51 diamond drop.
Cynthia Erivo

Meanwhile, Grande’s talented cast mate, Cynthia Erivo, looked Wicked-ly good in deep green velvet ballgown plus a sprinkling of diamond jewels by the Venetian-based maker Roberto Coin.

As ever, can we just take a moment of appreciation for Erivo’s bejewelled nails? We especially love the tiny watch face.
Isabella Rossellini

Conclave star Isabella Rossellini cast her character’s nun’s habit aside for a glamorous velvet ensemble and a high jewellery diamond and sapphire necklace from Bulgari, plus a pair of vintage Bulgari earrings which were once owned by her mother, the actress Ingrid Bergman.
Fun fact: Bergman wore the same earrings the night she won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in 1975.
Demi Moore

More was definitely more when it came to Demi’s red carpet sparkle. The Best Actress hopeful paired her gleaming sequinned gown with some substantial diamond jewels by Chopard, including a pair of earrings from the maker’s Red Carpet collection featuring over 17 carats worth of white diamonds, and a statement bracelet in 18k white gold boasting a 20-carat emerald-cut and 15-carat emerald-cut central stone.
Margaret Qualley

If you needed any more proof that spectacular necklaces were the order of the day at this year’s Academy Awards, look no further than Moore’s co-star from The Substance, Margaret Qualley, who dazzled in a white gold and diamond showstopper from Chanel.
Colman Domingo

Colman Domingo adorned his scarlet suit with a clutch of jewels by Parisian house Boucheron. He chose a vintage brooch from 1956, a vintage bracelet from 1946 featuring two gold rope chains linked by tubular motifs, stud earrings and a pink gold ‘Fuzzy the Leopard Cat’ ring set with diamonds, emeralds and tourmaline.
Gal Gadot

Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot looked super in a radiant red gown and a gold feathered collier necklace by Tiffany & Co, which she paired with simple diamond stud earrings.
Goldie Hawn

Veteran actor Goldie Hawn dazzled onlookers in a sequinned gold gown, plus a statement necklace by Sabyasachi and a retro diamond ring by New York-based Briony Raymond.
Robert Downey Jnr.

Last year’s Best Supporting Actor, Robert Downey Jnr. passed the torch onto Kieran Culkin this year, whilst wearing a bejewelled archival brooch by Tiffany & Co.
Kieran Culkin

Speaking of whom, devoted family man Culkin sported an elegant jabot-style brooch on his lapel which had a special, personal meaning. The bespoke platinum piece by Kwiat and Fred Leighton featured a pear-shaped Colombian emerald, a cushion-cut purple sapphire and a square-shaped peridot – the birthstones of his beloved wife, Jazz, and their two children.
Michelle Yeoh

Always elegant, Yeoh selected a pair of asymmetrical earrings in a white gold and diamond feather design, plus a high jewellery white gold necklace set with princess, baguette and round-cut diamonds, all by Boucheron.
Halle Berry

Never mind Monsters Ball, Berry gleamed like a veritable glitter ball in a stunning mirrored gown, accessorised with white gold and diamond chain jewellery by Italian maker Pomellato.
Paul Tazewell

Paul Tazewell not only took home the award for best Costume Design for his groundbreaking work on Wicked, he also sported one of the evening’s best brooches – a stunning vintage diamond pin from jeweller Fred Leighton.
Elle Fanning

Star of A Complete Unknown, which was nominated for Best Film this year, Fanning embellished her cream-coloured gown with a vintage platinum, white gold and diamond Cartier necklace (dating from 1958), plus a Cartier fine jewellery watch and white gold and diamond ring.
Coralie Fargeat

French filmmaker Coralie Fargeat, who wrote and directed The Substance, glistened in a sequinned black gown and a dramatic waterfall necklace from Boucheron’s Nature Triomphante high jewellery collection, featuring diamonds set into white gold.
Lupita Nyong’o

Revisiting her pearly queen look from the Oscars in 2015, Lupita Nyong’o took to the red carpet in a bespoke Chanel gown which was inspired by a vintage 1990s design and featured a bodice embellished with over 20,000 pearls. A pair of diamond and pearl Chanel earrings, a white gold and diamond bracelet and diamond rings completed her look, as did a pearl-adorned hairstyle crafted by her longtime hairdresser Vernon François.
Scarlett Johansson

Ms Johansson kept things classic in a midnight-hued velvet gown, accented with a white diamond necklace and earrings from De Beers.
Brady Corbet

Best director nominee Brady Corbet gave a glittering nod to his film The Brutalist with a bespoke, architecturally-inspired brooch by Hong Kong-based designer Sauvereign, in satin-finished silver.
H.E.R

Singer H.E.R created her own layered look for the Academy Awards this year, stacking four different diamond and gold necklaces by Chopard.
Questlove

Yet another fabulous lapel pin, this time courtesy of musician and producer Questlove, who donned an ornate floral brooch by Beverly Hills-based designer, Dena Kemp.
Doja Cat

Special mention must go to the inimitable Doja Cat, who took to the stage to perform during the awards ceremony in a glittering, custom-designed dress boasting over a million (yes, really) Swarovski crystals, plus a handful of the maker’s Matrix jewellery collection.
