Italian fashion house Bottega Veneta has debuted its latest foray into the fine jewellery space. Following the success of its first fine jewellery collection launched last year, the brand’s second release, Drop 02, continues the brand’s journey into luxury jewellery, combining high-quality craftsmanship with modern design.

Unveiled today, the collection has been handmade in Vicenza, Italy, known as the ‘City of Gold’, by skilled artisans with over 25 years of experience using responsibly sourced gold, diamonds, and colourful semi-precious stones.

Drop 02 features two unique lines, Enlaced and Alchemy. Enlaced draws inspiration from Bottega Veneta’s signature Intreccio leather-weaving pattern, creating an eye-catching illusion. This line includes a bracelet, rings, earrings, and necklaces, all crafted in polished gold.

Alchemy, meanwhile, offers a fresh take on traditional jewellery silhouettes while tapping into the mysticism and allure of ancient traditions with two distinct designs. One style emphasises classic elegance through pieces crafted in sleek white and yellow gold. The second, more vibrant interpretation pairs layered, semi-precious stones with twinkling white diamonds.

The highlight of Alchemy is a striking torque necklace. Meticulously assembled over 15 days, the piece is adorned with 380 individually hand-set diamonds, 19 onyx stones and 19 vivid green agates.
