Actress Natalie Portman was spotted at Cannes this week wearing some show-stopping pieces from Tiffany and Co.’s, new collection, Sea of Wonder – check out some images below.
Last month (April 24), Tiffany & Co. unveiled their Blue Book 2005 with the new collection that aimed to “celebrate the allure, motion and mystery of the oceans.”
Designed by Nathalie Verdeille – Tiffany and Co.’s Chief Artistic Officer of Jewellery and High Jewellery – the collection was said to embark on “a surreal journey from the figurative to the abstract” and has been inspired by famed Tiffany designer Jean Schlumberger and his legendary aquatic designs.
Sea of Wonder launched in New York with a high profile event that saw the likes of Anya Taylor-Joy, Mikey Madison, Greta Lee, Taylor Russell, Ai Tominaga, Camille Cottin and more in attendance.
Now, Portman has been spotted in Cannes wearing some key pieces from the collection. At the premiere of Eddington at the weekend (May 18), the actress was seen wearing the impressive ‘Wave’ necklace from the Blue Book 2025: Sea of Wonder collection in 18k white and yellow gold with diamonds of over 90 total carats.
Portman completed the look with diamond earrings and a ring in 18k white gold with over 18 total carats of diamonds. Check out the look here:
In a statement launching the collection last month, Verdeille said: “Each piece in our latest Blue Book collection, Sea of Wonder, captivates and invites us to lose ourselves in the rich storytelling as we embark on a journey through uncharted realms of the deep sea.
“While each creation weaves a story of the ocean and its wonders, these extraordinary pieces also tell a broader narrative of the House’s love of pushing boundaries, our relentless pursuit of that which has never been done before, and the spirit of extraordinary savoir faire that has defined Tiffany & Co. since 1837,” Verdeille continued.
“Drawing inspiration from Jean Schlumberger’s fascination with the sea, our House’s pioneering spirit endures, driving us to reinvent archival inspirations from a modern perspective.”
A press statement added that the Blue Book 2025: Sea of Wonder “dives into the depths, where the inexhaustible variety of flora and fauna transforms into an ethereal world of wonder. With an evocative colour palette that mirrors the iridescent shimmer of underwater light and the bioluminescent dances of oceanic creatures, the collection reimagines the beauty of the deep through Verdeille’s creative lens.”
In other Tiffany & Co. news, back in March, Dua Lipa dazzled in Tiffany & co. jewellery for her latest music video ‘Handlebars’ with Blackpink’s Jennie.
Showcasing the effortless glamour she’s known for, Dua layered multiple iconic Tiffany collections, proving that when it comes to diamonds, more is definitely more. Dua Lipa previously wore Tiffany & Co. diamonds at her appearance at the Met Gala in 2023.
