Fresh from triumphing over Britain’s arduous Three Peaks Challenge at the weekend (and raising vital funds for the hospital where she underwent cancer treatment two years ago), Catherine Princess of Wales has taken her place at Centre Court for a fun day out at Wimbledon.

The Princess served up some serious court-side style in a sky blue double breasted suit, accessorised with a pair of affordable moonstone and lapis lazuli earrings by independent brand Carousel Jewels.
Priced at £160 ($213), the ‘Stella’ earrings are crafted in gold-plated sterling silver, and set with smooth, ethically-sourced cabochons of moonstone and lapis lazuli. The style has completely sold out, but similar options set with glossy labradorite or rich green onyx are still available (at time of press).
This isn’t the first time the Princess has opted to wear this versatile pair of earrings. She was pictured wearing them back in 2023 for an Easter Sunday service at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor, and again last year on a visit to the newly-opened V&A East Storehouse in London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Both times, she chose them to accompany a vibrant blue outfit.

Like the late Queen Elizabeth, the Princess has access to an incredible trove of colourful jewellery, including heirloom treasures and more contemporary gems, and is renowned for re-wearing many of her most sentimental pieces for special occasions.
Most recently, she re-wore a pair of floral-shaped pearl earrings by London jeweller Cassandra Goad to accompany a pale blue suit at Trooping the Colour, which she had first worn to the Christening of baby Prince Louis at the Chapel Royal at St. James’ Palace back in 2018.
Catherine isn’t alone in her fondness for a pair of colourful gemstone earrings, either. Prince William’s cousin, Zara Phillips, has also become known for her preference for striking earrings crafted by independent jewellers including royal favourite Kiki McDonough, Laurence Coste, and affordable jeweller Hector Lion (whose pieces she recently wore for her brother Peter Phillips’ summer wedding to Harriet Sperling).
The popular royal also adores pieces by Australian-born designer John Calleija, whom she met back in 2013, and the pair have partnered on several distinct jewellery lines together. She’s regularly seen in the maker’s Saddle Suite earrings in platinum and white diamonds at high profile events, such as royal garden parties.
Most recently, she wore a pair of Kiki McDonough’s striking amethyst and peridot earrings to Royal Ascot, kicking off 2026’s summer of sport in suitably colourful style – something Catherine clearly knows all about, too.
