Cece Jewellery has launched its new fruit-themed summer collection, with each piece having its own meaning.
The UK contemporary jewellery brand shared that the collection – titled ‘For The Love Of Fruits’ – is “a joyful celebration of life’s fleeting sweetness,” and revealed that each fruit featured has its own specific meaning. The pear is for beauty, while the fig is for temptation, the lemon for purity, the peach for abundance and the cherry for desire.
Each fruit has been hand-painted on 18-karat yellow gold pendants with a brushed finish. The pendants also feature star-set diamond accents and a scalloped pavé diamond border. The name of the fruit and its meaning are engraved on the back of the pendant.
Speaking about the collection Cece Fein Hughes, founder of Cece Jewellery, shared: “Our For the Love of Fruit collection was inspired by the visual language of fruit in renaissance paintings, and how each fruit has deeply symbolic meanings—there is more to the eye,” (via National Jeweler).
If you fancy all five pendants, the star of the collection is the ‘For the Love of Fruit’ necklace which sees all of the pendants on an 18-karat yellow gold belcher chain with four diamond heart and crescent moon charms.
The pendants are available via the Cece Jewelry website with a starting price of $9,563 while the necklace retails for $60,839. Visit here to shop.
