Colin Farrell, like so many other celebrities such as Jimmy Fallon, Serena Williams and Lionel Messi, was on hand at the Miami Grand Prix to watch Mercedes’ Kimi Antonelli win his third race in a row to lead the Formula One World Championship.
Making an appearance during the sprint race and qualifying session, from a distance, Farrell looked as if he had a classic gold Rolex on his wrist but on closer inspection he was wearing a Jacques du Manoir Inspiration Classic.
With its two tone gold and steel bracelet and fluted bezel, the watch looks as if it will cost into the thousands but actually retails for less than £200 and can even be bought from Argos. It’s a far cry from the opulent wealth and glamour that comes with attending Formula One races.

Farrell is known to prefer simpler, cheaper watches and often seen wearing Casio, most notably on The Penguin press tour where he wore a LTP-V007G-9B which you can nab for less than £50.
On the opposite end of the spectrum was the watch worn by Dwayne Johnson at the 2026 Met Gala.
The Jumanji star and former wrestler went no expense spared when it came to his watch, wearing a Jacob & Co. Billionaire III that will retail for £2.4 million when it comes to market.
Befitting its wearer’s mammoth size, the Billionaire III measures 54mm and the movement is more than 40mm across, itself bigger than most watches. Even on Johnson, a man measuring at 6’5″ and more than 250lbs, the Billionaire III overtakes the wrist.
The watch is also adorned with 714 white diamonds with most of them on the bracelets. All in all, the piece totals 129.61 carats.
Jacob Aramo, the founder of Jacob & Co. said in a statement: “The Billionaire III is the crown jewel of Jacob & Co. a true masterpiece, created for those who command presence at the highest level. Seeing it on Dwayne Johnson tonight is a powerful expression of what we do best.”
